Hey gamers,

I loaded up my PC like 3 days ago and I've noticed that it has dropped in performance greatly. I can't even load a server browser or Steam message someone. My frames in games has dropped by 60-100. Here are a list of things I've tried:

  • Restarted computer
  • Uninstalled my most recent Windows update
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled CS:GO

None of these have worked. Plz give me some suggestions or no gaming privileges for a week.      :deletethis:

Note: My GPU is Radeon 580

All that pron will really get to your PC after a while :lenny:

But no, i've had this issue before.  And honestly I think the way that I fixed it was I did a factory restore on my PC.  Wiped everything. It sucked. You can move pictures and what not to a USB drive if you wish to keep them.  Other than that I don't really know what to say

update ur drivers boy

This

I noticed a low performance before on my computer, and updating my drivers worked to put up performances back to where it was before.

I messaged him on Discord. I asked him to install CPU-Z and show me each tab. The CPU tab was pretty suspicious.

Here's what he sent me:

Can you spot the issue? Spoiler contains the answer!

He cucked his CPU to 1 core/thread. I got a solution for him (changing his boot options).

It's fixed now. Big brain strikes again.

Also you can try updating motherboard drivers to keep this from happening. Sometimes updates can help with proformance issues or fix bugs.
