Valve has finally stepped in to stop gambling

After the event of m0e with CSGODiamonds and tmartin deceiving people by luring people into playing on his rigged site, Valve has finally decided to put a stop to gambling.

Finally this happens.

I honestly wasn't mad at Tmartin at first, but then he lied to people and had the worst apology ever. He took down his apology video straight afterwards cause of all the dislikes. I can expect this from M0e, M0e has done worse things.

Gambling sites shouldn't exist in the first place. But I am happy that Valve shut down gambling sites. (A Youtuber lost 100$ While Recording)

Most of those websites will probably either run out of skins or they will simply leave with as many skins as they can.

It's sad that Valve had to get sued for them to actually do anything. Nonetheless, I'm happy Valve is going take action.

I'll bet it will increase the market.

Now that gambling is gone, perhaps OPSkins will be gone too. Knives will be much more expensive, which would mean they'll double up the price within 2 months after Valve shut down those gambling sites.

That may be true, but at the moment it looks like everyone thinks the market is going to crash so they're selling their things for a quick buck.

 

At the moment, I think it's going to crash only because those people think it's going to crash. The main reason I want to sell my cases right now is so I can make a quick buck then invest it back into cases once the market crashes from the people afraid it's going to crash.

 

Sell when it's high and buy when it's low. But who knows?

This honestly makes me so happy, Gambling is something for Las Vegas, not Video games. Cases and stuff are okay, but no the site gambling.

 

I'm not saying i never did it, because i did. I lost and i stopped

(I lost an Karambit, awp assimov and a AK volcan)

 

But i also know that there are people that can't stop. That have no self control

Which is why i'm happy this stopped.

But I'm sort of happy to see gambling go, mostly because I lost two hundred dollars.

Yes.

 

I'm not sure what's going to happen to CSGO Lounge. That probably contributed a bit to people watching the esports matches.
