I think the server is currently lacking a bit of variety when it comes to the weapons in TTT US Rotation, with being limited to around 10-11 weapons (including 3 of them being pistols). 

In my experience it can be a bit boring using the same weapons over and over, so I have decided to link some weapons that I think could make a great addition to the server.

There may be a couple more weapons that spawn on the map, but I think the F6 loadout menu covers everything but Galil, Famas and SG.

Along with the added weapons, I think it could also be a nice addition to the server to add skins, these could be implemented through a case system or just bought directly using points in the F3 shop if you are member+.  

These weapons wouldn't be P2W but would have the exact same stats as the other weapons in their category. So a skin for a sniper would have the same stats as a standard scout...

Dead Ringer -when this item is bought and equipped the traitor who uses it will have a ragdoll appear when shot once (appearing as they have been killed), but will turn invisible for a couple of seconds so they can make a quick escape.

Defibrillator - Resurrect fallen Traitors with this item, if you are killed with this item equipped innocents and detectives will be able to pick it up and revive a fallen innocent or detective. (If a player died from a headshot they will not be able to resurrect from the dead).

I always liked the idea of having a wider range of weapons to pick up from the ground. A few months back, we had M9K weapons on the server, which including a bunch of guns with varying stats, and I always enjoyed using different ones to change my play. Since there were a lot though, it was kind of hard for our developers to balance them, and for some reason we voted on removing the weapons, even though they were voted in to begin with (although it did drastically decrease the download size). Nevertheless, I think adding a few weapons is always awesome, and hopefully some others could agree with this. 


I think we do already have the Galil and TMP in the game, although the TMP is a D weapon, and the Galil is a normal drop that we have lying around. We also had the HK-416 and the G3SG1, which I'm not entirely too sure why we got rid of, and kind of wish we had it back. I also believe others have asked Duck to add weapon skins as well, dunno where's that going. I'm not too sure about the adding of some of the T weapons, maybe Harpoon or Bomb Station at best. I'll let others give their opinion on it as well.

First things first, Galil and TMP are already on the server, loadouts menu only covers the basic weapons. We did have an intervention but it was removed with m9k. G3 kinda vanished when SG 550 came in, and they couldnt get it to come back so they left it. HK got replaced by m9k but was never readded once m9k was removed, and Duck doesnt want Tech 9.


Second, weapon skins can be created and downloaded from the Steam Workshop, they're client side so unless someone else has the skin, only you will see it.


As for T items, Melon launcher is a hard pass, as we already have the Bullet Bill, Defib has been denied due to ghosty reasons in the past, and I think they still count today. We already have shurikens/AWP so we dont need the harpoon, Dead Ringer could be fun, as I dont see any problems with it, same with Nyan Gun only it could get really annoying, and bomb station nah, we have enough explosives.

 I'd love to have the Nyan Gun, I think it's funny gunning down people with music.
And the Dead Ringer sounds like a cool concept, though it would be a get out of jail free card in some situations. I'm sure with the predictability of it will make it not that much of an issue.
 I'd honestly disagree with a Melon Launcher as well, the Bullet Bill is already strong as fuck primary fire wise, (which I believe should be changed as I'm sure the original thought was for the secondary fire to be the more stronger version as it consumes more ammo) but I digress, it's already way better, so we don't need another.

Bring back G3! Please.... ❤️.

Only problem with this at all is melon launcher when we already have bullet bills.

Other than that I would love it if all of this was implemented.

Exactly. If I want to play TTT I don’t want to have to wait an hour to get into the server. This isn’t rp.

My take on this suggestion post

I think the lack of weapons is fine, personally. For someone who plays competitive games, there typically does not have to be a whole lot in terms of variety, other servers offer this if that is something you value highly. However, I think we should look into the rebalancing of weapons so there are more "Viable" options such as the M16 having a much better range and accuracy and even recoil. That is just 1 example of course. Also, we can switch around some items and rebalance them to be standard/loadout items like the TMP and M4 (Silenced). Although I do like variety, I do not want to stray too far from a collection of items. We previously tried the M9K weapons pack and I thought that was a great addition but the loadouts issue with them really hurt it a lot IMO. Right now we are currently sticking to CSS type weapons and I do not want a weapon to feel super out of place like the Magnum for the D already does, I feel like they become too different that they just do not belong.
With that being said I am willing to give other options a try if they look or fun enough. An example I can think of is I have seen some Destiny weapons that were very fun and different but they would need an environment where they belong and I just do not know if Rotation can find a balanced ground where more content like them do exist and are widely liked, there is a risk of losing people because they are not interested in the unique content.

The skins idea is where my interest is the most, I have always been a fan of being able to have options for customization in everything and I like the fact that the knives have different options especially the CSGO ones. Even so, I think if we were to add skins we should not look to add the cheap recolours since you can already get them on the workshop and have them working on your end. CSGO skins would be a fantastic addition though. Being able to spend your points on something large and meaningful like a whole unique skin for a weapon would be very fun. currently, once you get more than 20K points, you do not really have anything to do with them after that. It has been that way since I joined well over a year ago now as well. So I think looking into more PointShop additions like CSGO reskins is a fun idea, and I would even like some more PointShop Perks/Powerups too. Although it can feel like pay to win, I would disagree and it is more of a goal and something to look forward to the more you spend time on the server. But, there is a problem with the idea of the skins and that would be that some of the weapons are T items like the M4A1-s skins, USP-s, and AWP for example. That would not be very fun if you can only have T weapon skins because I do not feel like that should be a thing at all, T weapons should universally be the same. That would mean that they would have to replace standard weapons which we would need to convert the Silenced Pistol and M4A1, which I think would be alright, but the AWP reskins would be difficult because that means the T AWP would have to go and we would use the CSGO AWP skins to replace Scouts.

More T weapons I do not like. I think a T revive would problematic, and a "rez" in any game is very very VERY difficult to "balance" (it cannot be) overall I do not hate the idea of a rez but I cannot see it being balanced in the slightest. Dead Ringer would be too OP same with Melon Launcher. Nyan Gun would cause people to lag and it also is just not a fun idea. Bomb HP station is just super toxic and could replace Jihads at a more efficient rate. Harpoon is bad because we already have 3-4 insta-kill T weapons.

Introducing more content like this can come with negatives too though. The first one that comes to mind is, of course, losing people's interest if we stray too far from Rotation by adding more unique weapons I think we can lose some people that we value. So I worry having too many unique out of place weapons might have that impact, which is why I do not suggest many weapon ideas despite having thought of a lot.
Another concern would be the bugs and total amount of reworks we would have to do, we currently got about 3 ish people at most who can actually provide this stuff for us, Duck being the leader of it all of course. I do not want to have too many ideas and projects going on so they feel stressed in trying to figure stuff out. I am not sure how big of an issue this would be though, but I can only imagine it still being at least a bit stressful. Especially if there are bugs which there are bound to be. 

Overall I think I support the Skins idea and anything for PointShop additions really, but not so much more weapon type content. I think I said everything I wanted to but I just woke up so prolly missed something important.
