10 minutes is far too long to make a move, it'll delay the games a lot, a minute max to ensure the game goes fast would be better

I agree with this, if this event occurs I suggest we do bullet chess.

10 minute move timer in total for each- so a game would last 20 mins max.

I'm thinking a time control of 10 | 10
Each player starts the game with a 10 minute clock, which counts down every time it is your move. Every move you make adds 10 seconds to your clock. When the your time runs out, you will lose the game on time.
