I understand the practicality of some weapons over others, but I believe that all weapons should have their specific perks. SMG's are better at controlling multiple zombies, so why can't shotguns knock back zombies a bit more? Just a thought, I would like people to discuss. Years back in gfl's infant days, shotguns were actually a heavily used go-to weapon, due to the fact it had the same or if not more power as an awp, only down side is that you needed to be closer to zombies to get it's full use of that crazy knockback. Today, shotguns in ze are just strange. If you bring back the absurd knockback from back then it's just plain out broken, so broken that back in the day you would be able to shoot a zombie from the base of Frostdrake tower all the way up to the boss area and early trigger the boss also. Lmao So if you keep the shotguns the way that they are today, no one will use them ever. Name a time you have seen a player defending with a shotgun recently...you can't. Solution? My take would be testing and experimenting until theres a ideal and fair knockback power for shotguns. But then again why use a shotgun when you have an infinite ranged weapon with decent knockback?
