Done:

• Re-enabled Autohop
  • Hopefully this will encourage players to start joining again, since scroll-wheeling isn't as popular as it used to be
• Added Hive365radio
  • All credit goes to @Thomasdavid097
• Added a "Legit" Style, for people who still want to scroll/learn how to scroll
• Disabled "TOGs Jump Stats"
  • This renders the "sm_jumps" command useless, simply as there's no need for it with autohop enabled

 

Working on:

• Removing either the WR times/resetting all times
  • Hopefully this will give the server a "fresh start", both doing this and enabling autohop. I'll try and mess with this later today, to see if I can figure it out.

Done:

• Reset all WR Bots on the server
  • Hopefully this will encourage more people to come on, especially with autohop now enabled, to try and set/beat new records.
• Removed some of the styles from being ghosts
  • Only styles with bots are Normal, Sideways, W Only, Low Gravity, and Legit
    • Bonus styles with bots include Normal and Low Gravity

• Fixing why all maps don't show up in !nominate

The server is back online! Please read this post for more details on why we had over a day of downtime.

 

Notes

• Moved the server from our VPS (cancelled) to our NFO machine. This will result in better performance.
• Upgraded to SourceMod 1.9 (dev build).
• Upgraded Shavit's Timer and built the plugins against the SM 1.9 build (required).
• Cleaned up the server.

From here on I shall be periodically adding updates to this thread.

 

• Added blacklist style - certain banned players can now be unbanned and added to this style. If you were banned for cheating, appeal!
• Added @epic panda as an admin
• Added @pufftwitt as an admin
• Fixed players being able to use commands they shouldn't have access to
• Fixed !votemap requiring a larger number of votes than there were players on the server when <4 players were on the server
• Stripped doors on bhop_caps as per a suggestion by Melon

Obvious shoutout and massive thanks to the dev of bhoptimer @pufftwitt

 

Most notable timer changes with respect to gfl bhop:

• New tas and tasthanos styles!
• Map now changes immediately if novote wins
• Nominations are removed on disconnect
• Fixed own playtime display and rank in !playtime
• !setstart can now be used outside of the start zone
• In !hud you can now toggle if glocks spawn with burst fire and usps spawn with silencers
• Added map list matches to !wr menu
• Fixed perfs not showing on scroll styles if sync wasn't enabled
• Style playtime no longer tracks when dead or spectating
• Steamids now print to chat when using the command !profile <player>
• It should no longer be possible to get times under 0.1 or so except on styles where that is actually possible such as prespeed
• Scoreboard now updates every 0.2 seconds instead of 1.0 seconds
• Added sm_prevcp, sm_nextcp, sm_deletecp
• Made player savestates save on player suicide
• Made !hate!main and advertisement messages silent

 

Misc. changes:

• Changed rtv delay on map start from 4 minutes to 1 minute
• Spectators can no longer rtv (if you rtved while alive your rtv vote will be removed 2 minutes after going to spectate)
• VIPs will no longer be kicked for being afk
• AFK kicker will no longer kick unless 10 or more people are on the server
• Replay bots now show player names in scoreboard
• Being forced into spectate by afk manager no longer removes your position if you had a run in progress
• Added !report <text>

Relevant timer changes:

• Fixed a bug that caused a menu to back out after typing a style after !wr for example !wrhsw
• You can now duplicate other players checkpoints from the !cp menu
• Added an option to hide spectators only when alive
• !wr menu now prints steamids to chat like the !profile menu does
• Added sm_beamer for some reason
• Various behind the scenes bug fixes and some processes should be faster now

Misc. Changes:

• Added !unreal style - originally made by Blacky
• Added new !glidehop style - made by @Razzation
• Added +left limiter to prevent players from getting autobanned for not knowing the rules
• Added improved-showtriggers plugin in place of the old one which sometimes didn't show random triggers
• Added mpbhops_but_working plugin - func_door and func_button boosters will now work better
• Updated sound-manager plugin so it will correctly block all sounds you have selected
• Afk kicker time changed from 300 to 600
• Fixed bhop_dimix doors thanks to Stu
• Removed bhop_anxiety since it CTDs
• Fixed various map tiers and added various zones to maps missing them - be sure to report any maps with incongruencies!
