A little help

So, as most people know i am joining the navy and i am studying.

 

But i would like to hear other people advice on how to study, cuz however i am doing it, it seems to not work. It may sound dumb but i dont think i really know how to study. Anyways no hate comments just help out a fellow member

What kind of studying? Exams or a test?

Don't cram. Just study a little bit every day and eventually you'll remember.

Study the stuff that you cant understand first, afterwards study the stuff you already know.

Such as going reading the book, going over notes (if applicable) , or go online and look for practice tests.

Listen to instrumental music, but do not blast it. No lyrics, sorry bud :(. Or if that's not your thing https://www.rainymood.com/ is excellent. I also prefer to study in 45 minute periods. 45 minutes of studying, 15 minute break (mentally, this means go get a snack, your brain needs a break). Repeat cycle as many times as you wish.

Oh I did that test. If you're in Canada its called the CFAT exam. Qualified to be a paramedic

Trust me tho these exams are much more important than a math test. Grab a GED test book and start practising the basics and what not.

The ASVAB is basic math. Remedial algebra is all it is. The rest is reading and writing, which should be easy. 

 

You can start by getting some material for whatever you think is going to be hard for you, but really you should be fine. I got a 94 on my ASVAB in 2009, and the military didn't stop calling me until 2013.
