Breach!

So recently the GFLClan released a brand new Garry's mod Breach server and it has become REALLY popular BUT! It lags alot (probaly because of the massive amount of people there are or some other reason.) I was just going to ask if the Breach staff can fix the Ping issue that alot of people are complaining about. But as well keep up the good work Breach staff you have been doing really good handling the server and thats what makes it better!

Lag? Have you been on Purge lately?

@Gecko-Chan I tried out the Breach server last night. Very fun! I didn't seem to get any lag so it might be you. Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and send a screenshot of the results to me, maybe I could help you.

The ping issue happens because, like you said, there's a lot of people and it really stresses out the server.

 

 

The only people who can actually do something about it is Violator/Zebra. They removed a plugin that was causing it to lag a lot which is why the lag has been down recently but a part of it is just from having so many people running around and doing shit.

@CrusTi I got about 10 ping when i tried the speed test so it was not my ping that screwed me over in Breach when i played. And also thanks @Mundo for fixing up the server!

Same thing for me, I never get any lag for the server. Only time I experienced heavy lag was when it was on the server side.

Like I said, the lag is definitely server side.

 

Since our US servers are all hosted in the same place, you'd know if it's your connection that's lagging or the server that's lagging because the other servers would be lagging the same amount. Since the other server connections is probably stable for you, it's the server that's lagging.

 

Which is normal for a GMod server at 50+ people. ZS gets them and so does Purge.

 

We got rid of a plugin that was causing a lot of the lag but it'll still occasionally lag. Overtime we'll probably fine tune some more stuff to make it run more smoothly. I also hear that the Breach plugin is also coded kind of poorly so that might also be causing some problems.

I fixed the lag 2-3 days ago. Open net_graph 4 and if the server var is 5 or 10, the server is doing fine.

umm that's really good you wanna know bad ask me and @Thomasdavid097 about it we get like 10-15 down and 5 up ( if we are lucky)

Guys, remember. It new server. Expect lag and issues on first day of server.

 

Otherwise, I think breach is fine. It just I don't like how you can't hear people who is alive when your dead.

 

Other than that. I think I enjoyed myself on Breach. Only issues I had is one silly trap that keep killing me left and right and retarded researcher selection (I was researcher 4 times in row!) but other than that. I think it balanced.

 

Though, I wished it was Ground Control but still. Still love it.
