How did you find out about CS:GO?

How I found out about CS:GO was I saw a YouTuber named Smitty play competitive matchs and it looked like a pretty interesting game.

A long time ago I was browsing Steam and saw a new game pop up, it was CSGO back in late 2012. I got it cuz Valve makes pretty good games. Sure, at first it wasn't too great but over the last 2 years I have enjoyed CSGO a lot and play it all the time.

I played CS:GO on PS3 first since it came out on that first. But on steam, I got into it because I wanted to try it out to see if its different from the ps3 version,

Well, I was a big TF2 fan back then and I didn't even notice my friend got me CS:GO. I thought it was one of the lame games where you just play for fun and deathmatch(COD) but one day I tried it out. Instantly I was addicted, I started out with deathmatch, made my way up to competitive with the help of  my friend that was MG2 before and I loved it. I soon relised I didn't fully like competitve due to some reasons so I found out about community casual servers. THE ENDDDDDDDDD!

I found out about CSGO a little over 2 years ago back when steam was selling the Valve bundle on sale for $20. It wasnt until about a year and a half later that I got really into it when a friend was introducing me to it. I then noticed some funny moments videos on youtube and thats when I really got into it

Friends from Garry's Mod were constantly playing it and then ended up one of said friends bought the game for me and I started playing with them.
