Roy 10,832 / 0 Report Post Posted August 11, 2016 Hello, I was going to introduce this with the next GFL update. However, I felt it would be better to implement this quickly. I've re-enabled Ban Protests and Player Reports in SourceBans. At the moment, we have no accurate ETA on when the GFL core application will be made that will introduce official admin applications, ban appeals, and player reports. This is a temporary solution but should definitely help. Server Admins can sign into SourceBans via Steam to see reports, etc. If you have any questions/issues, feel free to post here! Thanks. Joshy 4,297 / 42,765 Report Post Posted August 11, 2016 Edited August 11, 2016 by Joshy · Hidden Hidden Thanks for making this happen. It's going to be extremely useful even as a temporary means before something better. I cannot remember if this forum category shows to regular players. If it doesn't, can we post about it in our forum category as a temporary means to let the players know. We've been receiving reports, but they cannot upload .dem using the forums and try to use sketch third parties. I'm sure there are no ill intentions with the reports, but I'm not willing to take the risk, lol I'm asking because I know nothing from the admin forums should really leak their way to the greater forum. Here's an example of a recent one: Edited August 11, 2016 by Joshy Share this post Link to post

Pyros 1,793 / 30,396 Report Post Posted August 11, 2016 · Hidden Hidden Should I make a post under TTT asking for them to use the Sourceban for ban appeal and player report or leave like that? @Ash-'s opinion on gmod: Share this post Link to post

Leave that to violator to make it. That's his job and he usually doesn't like people doing his job. credits to @Clavers Share this post Link to post Achievements

Joshy 4,297 / 42,765 Report Post Posted August 11, 2016 · Hidden Hidden Great! It works for me. Just wanted to confirm that. I like Kim's submission the best edit: Links: Ban Protests Ban Submissions Just in case it's not clear how to do this or if you have the permissions to review a protest or submissions... let me show you how to navigate to them. On the SourceBan page, there's an Admin Panel tab One of the options should be Bans, and this page also shows you how many protests and submissions there are. This is where it's easy to overlook because it looks like Bans only allow you to submit bans, but there's a tab on the left side. Say for instance someone is referencing an old protest or submission, then you can look at the archive. This may be helpful if you removed the protest or submission, but you forgot to contact them (it goes directly to their e-mail) or wanted to retrieve some details for referencing.
