We have brought you here because you have proven to be the best, smartest and the brightest within Overwatch. You will be pitted against other willing challengers who are trying to prove themselves within the realm of battle. You will each take on another challenger in an intense 1v1 simulation, where you'll fight to reign supreme over everyone else. If you succeed you'll be rewarded greatly. Be careful however, as there will be competitors who have braved many battles and have been victorious in the past! -------------------------------------------- Tournament Details Start date - Day one: Saturday 18th November - Day two: (if enough entrants) Sunday 19th November Round time - 10PM GMT / 6PM EST Hosted by - @Darkling Casted by - @Crusty @Shuruia Streamed by - @Dano (My internet was really bad last time I streamed it, figured we would get some German efficiency) Map - Ecopoint: Antarctica/Castillo/Black Forest (will make a vote for this) Region - Americas (We may change this for the final rounds if they are both EU) Banned heroes: Winston/Orisa/Symmetra/Mercy/Lucio Semi-Finals/ Finals will be a "Best of 3" All other rounds will be "Best of 1" Bracket - http://challonge.com/GFLOverwatch Twitch stream - https://www.twitch.tv/gflclan This will be the third Overwatch tournament hosted by GFL. We welcome everyone to participate and hope that you all enjoy the experience! The tournament may be held over 2 days if there are enough entrants. This will be confirmed closer to the cutoff date. You can enter no matter what region you play, as long as you meet the requirements below. The prize is going to be very convenient for any of you wanting to get Destiny 2 but don't want to pay the full amount. Or maybe you are going to waste it all on loot boxes, it's your call. Requirements: You must only enter using your own Overwatch/Battle.net account. You must be using GFL TeamSpeak or Discord on the day to allow quicker organisation. Tournament Rules: Turn up to the event on time. Show respect to other players. (Mild trash talk is allowed) Don't deliberately force a draw! Don't use bugs/glitches! Don't camp in spawn! The hosts will have the final say! Rewards: Big thanks to @Bae for donating the top prize for the event! 1st Place - $20 battle.net gift card 2nd Place - $10 battle.net gift card 3rd Place - $5 battle.net gift card The rewards are subject to change. Darkling 2,041 / 23,430 Report Post Posted October 31, 2017 Due to the PubG tournament being pushed back a week. We will also be pushing the Overwatch tournament back a week also. This means the new date for the Overwatch tournament is now the 18th November (Saturday) This means you can all still be involved in both events for anyone interested! Also I have removed the requirement to be a member. This is because of our continued interaction with other communities, which can lead to some of them wanting to come over to us and join in. Can't say no to a bit of free advertising. Edit. Also added the requirement to be online on GFL TeamSpeak or Discord on the day of the tournament.
