So today I bring Y'all a suggestion I've seen in some other communities and I found that they worked pretty good. The concept is extremely simple: Every month, a thread that is available to everyone is made to evaluate Board of Directors-Division Leader's-Community Advisors-Technical Admins-Server Managers where it also shows ALL promotions done during the month.. Something like this: STAFF FEEDBACK - NOVEMBER Promotions/Demotions @Kim BoD>Server Manager>Retired Veteran @Santahiggle bla bla bla you get the deal @Leks Player>BoD Board of Directors @Roy - Insert opinion about ... @Dano - Insert opinion about hitler.. @denros - Insert opinion about bollywood star.. @Shuruia- Insert opinion about shuruia.. @Cypher - how unfortunate I didn't tag you... Division Leaders @Bigtime388 - Insert opinion about bigtime.. @Dano - Insert opinion about hitler.. @Mercer - Insert opinion about mercer.. @Snoopy- Insert opinion about snoopy.. @Thomasdavid097 - Insert opinion about thomas.. @Violator - Insert opinion about violator.. @Zebra - Insert opinion about zebra... And so on.. Regarding Server Administrators.. Server Managers can opt whether they want to do this every month or not.. Why should this be implemented? Because one of the best ways, if not the best, to find out what is there to improve is to ask the PLAYERS for their opinion regarding staff, instead of depending each on each other. It also provides a more Staff-Player environment on the community, which I believe is slightly lacking. Who facilitates the thread, and were the communities you saw pretty good at preventing retaliation? I would suggest two or three people could open themselves up for feedback PMs and put a thread together at the end of the month? This would help filter out troll or retaliation feedback, and same for preventing retaliation from someone receiving negative feedback. I think it would be a pretty good idea though given this strange perception that we've been "abusing" and "harsh" lately, but I'm just not exactly sure where this is arising and how we could improve. The Admins+ have something to lose if they want to shitpost. Plus they can be used to ask in there servers the personal opinion of the players. That way has more protection against retaliation and Shit posting But it could be seen as trying to censor public opinion. We could ask the community advisors to keep an eye on the thread and moderate it. Making sure the feedback is constructive and not just a case of targeting the leadership.
